Background
The immunogen for the anti- mouse bcl - 2 was a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 61 to 76 of the mouse bcl-2 sequence. Bcl-2 expression is associated with cell survival. The ratio of bcl-2 to other bcl-2 family members is believed to modulate apoptosis.
